Ramesh Reshad, 18, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. near his Pleasant Hill home, said police Sgt. Matt Kristic. “A couple of our patrol officers recognized the description of the suspect vehicle and suspect from prior contacts,” Kristic said Saturday. The robbery occurred about 4 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Golf Club Road. Two men approached a 23-year-old man, pistol-whipped him and demanded his car keys, wallet and cellphone, which he handed over, police said. One of the suspects was about to get into the stolen vehicle but fled the area as the victim ran to call police. The two suspects drove off in a second car. The victim’s wallet was recovered about 1.5 miles away near Paso Nogal Road and Morello Avenue.
